Daniel's Scarf is a knitting pattern beginner to advanced knitters can all enjoy. It produces an epic 7+ foot long scarf that has a classic, preppy yet relaxed vibe. It's perfectly unisex, especially when you work it up in the "sock monkey" inspired color scheme you see in the sample with grey, white and crimson red.  
 
The pattern features a lattice cable that makes for an engaging pattern you can sink your teeth into and will keep even experienced knitters on their toes. Best of all, this pattern is pretty darn reversible! A truly reversible cable knitting pattern is hard to find but flip through the photos to see the beautiful wave pattern that forms on the reverse side of this scarf.
 
This pattern uses about 260 yards (220 meters) of a super bulky yarn like Lion Brand Thick & Quick and requires 8mm (US 11) and 10mm (US 15) knitting needles long enough to accommodate 18 stitches as well as a cable needle.
 
If you know the basic knit and purl stitches and the basics of cabling, you can make this scarf no problem!
